Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) can stimulate issue repair, reduce inflammation or have an analgesic effect. Laser Therapy is the application of red and near infra-red light over injuries or lesions to improve wound / soft tissue healing and give relief for both acute and chronic pain. NSAIDs slow healing and often have side effects whereas LLLT actually improves healing, as well as reducing inflammation and pain. LLLT is an excellent alternative to NSAIDs.
