The newly established Rehabilitation and Disability Research Theme (University of Otago Research Theme) aims to bring together researchers from diverse backgrounds to conduct high quality research that will enhance the effectiveness of rehabilitative care and optimize quality of life for persons with injuries and disabilities - including those musculoskeletal neurological and chronic health conditions that may lead to impairment and/or disability.

The website is part of their efforts to promote the work of theme members and partners: to other researchers, funders, policy-makers and the wider community. They also hope to promote better communication and networks in the rehabilitation and disability research community. The website will also provide information about their yearly colloquium in order to allow others to participate and/or attend.
